Fibertex TM Rockwool
Bradford Fibertex Rockwool insulates effectively to temperatures of 820 C. It is used extensively in power stations, boilers and other industrial applications. Rockwool is an excellent fire rating material in buildings, marine vessels and other applications. Because it is denser than glasswool insulation, Rockwool has superior sound absorbent properties and is recommended where noise (as well as heat flow) reduction is required. The higher density means the same thermal insulation can be achieved with a thinner batt or blanket an advantage where space is limited.
