Fiberwall Anchoring Systems
The Fiberfrax FiberWall systems hardware family of anchoring systems and components provides an array of anchoring options covering a broad range of lining system designs and application requirements.
INSULTWIST ANCHOR
The most widely used metal anchor is the Insultwist Stud and Washer. The Insultwist stud is a 6.4 x 3.2 mm rectangular cross-section bar with notches in the sides which bring the cross-section back to square.
CUPLOCK 
For furnaces operating at temperatures above the maximum recommended use temperature of alloy studs,the Carborundum Cuplock anchor is used in conjunction with the Insultwist stud. The ceramic cuplock replaces the metal washer.
CERAMIC “WHISTLE” ANCHOR
For hot-face/temperature/ thickness combinations, where the Cuplock anchor cannot be used, we have a special anchoring device.It consists of a ceramic pin which lock into a metal tube which is welded to the shell. The pin has 2 circumferencial grooves near its hot-face end, into which a ceramic disc is locked , to retain the fiber lining .The pins and metal tubes can be obtained in a variety of lengths to suit linings for over 1400 C hot-face and over 230mm in thickness
